From the moment I heard house music for the very first time, I knew it was in my blood. I am a music fan, a music collector, a music connoisseur. DJ'ing has been a HUGE part of my life & ive been fortunate enough to play in many clubs & bars, not just around the UK (Ministry of Sound, Gatecrasher, Custard Factory) but around the world (Ibiza, Miami, Paris). There's no better feeling than seeing a crowd react when your DJ set & music selection touches their mind, body & soul. And I've never tried to just emulate other DJ's, although several have significantly influenced my career. I've never been afraid to try something new or different. Today I thoroughly enjoy playing my house sets just as much as ever, aswell as a retro set, whether it's classic Disco & Salsoul or even Northern Soul & Motown. Quite simply, I love music - and the ability to DJ is my way of sharing with like minded people the wonders of dance music. I was born 49 years ago and have been close to music since childhood. As a young man, I decided I wanted to become a DJ. **My professional start** came in 1993. That’s when I fully committed to mixing and creating music for discos and club events. My distinctive style and energetic performances quickly won me popularity, and I gradually became a familiar face in the local club circuit. **During my career**, I had the amazing opportunity to travel and perform on various stages. These experiences enriched me immensely, not just musically but also as a person. I learned to feel the crowd’s energy, and my mixing skills became my trademark, propelling me to the top of the local DJ scene. **After years spent in the prime of my career**, I felt in 2008 that it was time for a change. I decided to end my active DJ career and devote myself to other interests and responsibilities. Though I no longer play at major events today, my passion for music and mixing still burns within me. **I’m still part of** our local music community, and I’m proud of what I’ve achieved for DJ culture. My Name is Paul Law I DJ & Produce as POPS (UK) I class myself as young elderly at 58yrs old, 30 yrs out of DJ'ing to have kids after a rather lucrative few years see me come back at it 18 months ago, in that time I have passed the club read DJ school course and played at some awesome venues, signed a record deal with Doc Brown @Unlearn records (1st track is released 1st September) A heavy clubby tech house track. I just love to transition 2 tracks together for pleasure or work it doesnt matter, my music tastes are vast if it makes me tap my feet im into it.

Since I was very young like 7yrs old, I remember being pulled by music sounds and mixes they did in the 70s,but in 83' all it took was for my friend to lend me his turntables and boom box, started DJn in 85 and the rest has been a wonderful trip in the mix. Bboying and Chicago house trax became my influence while living in the U.S. Now, here in my country of Guatemala City in Central America, I will continue getting on the ones and twos and produce, as well as help or collaborate with whomever is interested in working with me.
